Iguazu National Park in Iguazu, Argentina with it’s spectacular waterfalls are a not-to-be-missed South American adventure. The awesome teen took the shot below, love it. The rainbows were out in full force on the day of his visit.
I took the shot below of the Coati, whom I kept waiting to show up at the lunch area as they are famous for (and famous for eating travelers lunch!) but no such luck. I was a bit off schedule grabbing a bite at 2 p.m. and the nature guide said they come at 12 noon sharp 🙂
Walking across one of the bridges on my way to see the Devil’s Throat – a 270 foot drop-off in the middle of one of the falls – I saw this little turtle holding on to the cement looking up at the tourists. The butterfly landed on my arm while waiting for a train to ride through the park; there are swarms of them in many places, as enthralling as the waterfalls in some respects.
The video below walks you along a path (there are similar wooden walking paths all through the park) and to the Devil’s Throat – check it out.
