Have you ever seen the skeleton of a Carnotaurus dinosaur? Didn’t think so. How about a full-size replica of a Iguanodontian or an Abelisaurian? No? If you would like to you can, at the El Parque Cretácico in Sucre, Bolivia.
El Parque Cretácico in English is ‘Dinosuar Park‘ and that is what you will see a lot of, complete with sound tracks playing their ferocious roars. The main attraction is the authentic dinosaur footprints encased in a limestone wall near the park, and the telescopes that you can use to view them.
It’s a small, cute park, with lovely gardens and a cafe to sit and have a meal. There is also a small museum and an auditorium with viewings of the documentary ‘Walking with Dinosaurs’ produced by the BBC.
Starting at the front entrance ticket stand, you can take a short walk through the park grounds by watching the vid below.
